Clean the Surface: Ensure the floor is clean, dry, and free of debris. Measure the Area: Measure the dimensions of the area to determine the quantity of tiles required.
Lay the First Tile: Start from one corner and work your way out. Interlock the Edges: Align and press the interlocking edges together firmly. Trim to Fit: Use a utility knife to cut tiles to fit around edges and obstacles.
Loose Lay: For temporary installations, the tiles can be loose-laid. Taping or Gluing: For permanent installations, use double-sided tape or adhesive to secure the tiles to the subfloor. Rolling Out: Use a floor roller to ensure the adhesive bonds properly and remove any air bubbles.
Seal Seams: Use seam sealer or tape if required to ensure a continuous surface. Final Inspection: Ensure all tiles are securely in place and the surface is even.
